What Is Included In A Skin Care Treatment?
Consultation - Your Clinical Aesthetician will review your questionnaire with you. She will ask the appropriate questions pertaining to your treatment; and answer any questions or concerns that you may have. Because education is important, your aesthetician will explain what products you should be using for your skin care regimen and why they will help your skin to improve.
You and your aesthetician will discuss your goals and your prospective results to ensure that you have a clear understanding of exactly what to expect before and after each treatment. We work as a team in order to assure that you achieve results.
Skin Analysis - The analysis determines your oil and water levels, the conditions of the skin, i.e., blackheads, white heads, milia, dehydration, lines, wrinkles, etc. Once the conditions are noted, your aesthetician will recommend the appropriate treatment program that will work for you.
Deep Cleanse - Your skin will be pre-cleaned and then based on the analysis a personal blend of appropriate additives will be selected. The additives we use are all natural ingredients. These additives will be massaged directly into the skin.
Exfoliation - A Papain based enzyme is applied to the skin and warm towels are placed directly on the skin which will activate the enzyme. The purpose of the enzyme is to remove dead skin cells and soften the debris in the follicle and prepares the skin for extractions.
Extractions - Thorough removal of blackheads, white heads, and follicular debris. For your protection, we use gloves and the latest sanitation procedures.
(Basic Treatment DOES NOT include extractions.)
Mask
- The appropriate
mask is selected with the proper additives. The mask is applied and left on for about 15 minutes.
Massage - You will receive a 10 - 15 minute massage to your face, neck and shoulders. A complimentary hand and foot massage is included.
Moisturize - A final moisturizer that has been blended especially for your skin type and conditions is applied.

How Long Is A Skin Care Treatment?
For the first visit, allow an 1 hour and 30 minutes. Subsequent visits will be approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
What Type Of Treatments Do You Offer?
We have basic cleansing and moisturizing treatments, acne treatments and intensive treatments.

What Type Of Products Do You Use?
Our Extensive line of botanical extracts, vitamins or essential oils are used to create treatments and product that are formulated expressly to meet the needs of your skin. Our Private Label Home Care Products are High Quality and formulated with quality ingredients.
Do You Have A Referring Dermatologist Or Board Certified Plastic Surgeon?
Aesthetics by Sondra has developed a strong working relationship with physicians in the Long Beach area since 1987. These physicians frequently refer their patients to us for deep cleansing treatments and pre- and post operative treatments.
What Sanitation Methods Do You Use?
We use an autoclave dry heat sterilizing system and an anti-bacterial solution. Latex gloves are used during extractions and sometimes during massage when appropriate.
