As I got older, especially after having children, I developed terrible hormone-related acne. I had seen dermatologists, internists, and gynecologists and taken nearly every prescription and over-the-counter remedy available. Finally, my mother-in-law gave me a gift certificate to see Sondra. It was the best gift she ever gave me. Feeling nervous, but knowing I would at least have an hour of pampering even if it didn't really help my skin, I made an appointment to see Sondra. I had no idea what I was starting.
Everything about the experience was positive. Every sense was considered. I love the smells of the different cleansers and moisturizers, Sondra's sensitive yet sure facial massage, the relaxing music...All created an environment for relaxation and peace.
With everything going on in my life (work, kids, PTA, home, life-in-general) I always felt that having a set pre-scheduled appointment with you was like knowing there was a reward to look forward to, sort of like seeing an oasis in the middle of a desert. It's a cliché to say that it was the best gift I could give myself, but it truly was. It is always easy to give away your time and energy to the people you love. Sondra was my
facialist for several years while I was living in Long Beach. I got married and moved to Los Angeles, but continued to drive to Long Beach to see Sondra, for a year and a half, until she moved to Arizona. Before finding Sondra, I'd been to many facialists and found her to be by far the best! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Sondra was consistently up to date on the latest in skin care, continuing her education, working with dermatologists and providing her clients with only the most superior services and products. I always looked forward to my appointments, not only was it very relaxing, I felt like my skin had definitely improved under her care! The Power Peel was terrific! I have been searching for a new facialist since Sondra's move.... I'm finding it difficult (even though the LA - Beverly Hills area is filled with fabulous salons) to replace her. Boy do I miss your magic (on my face of course). I haven't gone for a facial since I saw you last. Unfortunately, it is pretty apparent that I haven't. I know I have told you so many times before that you have made me think differently about my facial care. Before I began coming to you, I thought drying out (and picking) my face was the answer. Obviously that was just about the worst thing I could have done. I really noticed such a tremendous difference in my overall complexion once I started listening to your advice. Of course, now I am hooked on the micro-peel for immediate improvement. But I still love your facials. They are so relaxing! It is a shame you are so far away now. After all, I didn't mind driving 35 miles just to have you work your miracles on me, but Arizona is just a little too far to drive even for me. I must admit I first started visiting her clinic as a whim, not really convinced that this type of beauty treatments would really make a difference. I wouldn't have stayed with Sondra for all the years that I did, if I hadn't been happy with her services and with her overall caring attitude. There were a couple of times when my sensitive skin acted up after one of your product treatments, but you made a note in my file, and tried very hard to avoid these problems again. Now and then, I had occasion to receive a facial from another provider (a gift certificate, or was out of town). How can I start talking about Sondra Scott? It is very hard because she has many virtues that it would take me hours to describe them all. However, I am going to try my best, not to inconvenient you, and try to describe her in a few paragraphs.
As a professional, Sondra is above and beyond what any client could aspire to have, she will always give you the right advice, recommend the right products, and when I say, recommend the right products, I don't mean the typical person who will make you spend a fortune in order for her to make money. With everything I bought during the nine (9) years that I have known Sondra and that I have been her client; I have seen an improvement on my skin every single time. She makes you relax, feel comfortable and helps you very much to keep you looking as young as possible and as healthy as possible.
Sondra goes above and beyond her duties, she becomes your friend, your computer consultant and she does anything to make sure her clients are happy; otherwise, believe me, I would not have been driving twenty (20) miles for my treatments for so many years when there are many "skin & body care salons" in every area. But they do not come up to half of what you can get from Sondra.
I would not hesitate one minute to hire her, to become her client and to recommend her as the number one Aesthetician. Too bad now I cannot drive to another state to still be her client but one never knows, certainly if one day I am in Arizona, I will make sure I will take advantage of visiting her for a treatment and also to see my friend. Words cannot express what Sondra has meant to my mother and me for the past 7 years. I came to Sondra with horrible skin!! I suffered from acne, pigmentation problems, scarring, etc. I was 28 years old and feeling terrible about the way my face looked. I packed on tons of make-up just to cover the flaws.
I was referred to Sondra by a family member who bragged about how good Sondra was. She was right! After a few visits my skin had noticeably improved.
